My favorite read of the month was…
Today’s video shares my reads during the month of February. I read 6 books – one of which was an Advanced Reader Copy (aka an ARC)! I enjoyed every book I read during the month and highly recommend them all. Fangirl though, has got to be my favorite! Full reviews will be linked below as they get blogged! Are any of these one of your favorites?

“Cather…” Back up to his eyes. “You know that I’m falling in love with you, right?”
Read this right now | 5/5 stars | Buy your copy of Fangirl
Twin sisters, Cather and Wren, have been inseparable up until their freshman year of college. Wren decides she wants her independence and Cath is left all alone. Over the course of the year, Cath begins to come out of her shell, learns to stand up for herself, creates friendships, and even falls in love.
What I loved:
It felt so REAL. Easily connected with the characters, especially Cath. The Fan Fiction was interesting and fun. Levi and Cath!! Adorable, can’t wait to reread this again!
What I didn’t:
not a thing.
If you liked We Were Liars, Before We Were Strangers, or If I Stay: binge read this!

Don’t always judge the book by the hype friends!
Read | 4/5 stars | Buy your copy of The Infinite Sea
Overview: Camp Haven just came crashing down. The group of survivors that escaped the death camp is now on the run and we’re left wondering how will they survive knowing they’re being hunted by The Others.
What I loved: Getting to read things from The Others perspective, but what surprised me the most is how much better this was than I expected (don’t always judge by the hype friends!)
What I didn’t: The action was spread further out, it didn’t keep me on the edge of my seat.
If you liked The 5th Wave, Hunger Games, or Divergent: this series is great too! Grab your copy of the final book in the trilogy, The Last Star!
For my full review of The Infinite Sea, click play! Oh boy… I just realized months later that it didn’t upload the edited video, it uploaded the entire unedited video. That’s fun hahaha And Butters doesn’t like when I make videos. Can you tell that she wants ALL the attention? Sorry for her rudeness 😉
“Some things you can never leave behind. They don’t belong to the past. They belong to you.”
Must Read | 5/5 stars | Buy your copy of The 5th Wave
When aliens suddenly appear and threaten to take over the planet, Cassie looses everything she’s ever know including her family. She’s left to take on the world alone, that is until she meets Evan.
What I loved: It jumps straight into the action. Being able to hear Cassie’s thoughts was a great element (and had me laughing). Makes you think about your own morals and there’s a little romance too! Hello cliff hanger…
What I didn’t: Point of View changes were tricky.
If you liked Hunger Games, Maze Runner, or Divergent: this is right up your alley! And be sure to continue on with the series with The Infinite Sea!

Over the past year, reading has become an obsession of mine. I’ve always loved to read, but last year it really became a daily part of my routine. It’s a way to fall into another world, to learn new things, and to new FEEL things (and boy those feels get you). Bookstores are a safe haven and when I need a little “me” time, I can often be found browsing the endless aisles of Tattered Cover, Barnes and Noble, or 2nd & Charles and more often than not… buying WAY too many books from Amazon. There are probably just as many books on my TBR (to be read) shelf as there are on my shelves of books that I’ve actually read. I’m definitely not exaggerating either… they’re overflowing onto the floor! I either need a two month reading vacation or more shelves 😉
Anyways, back to the main point of this blog post… my Top 10 books of 2015! I read 25 books so narrowing it to the top 10 wasn’t too difficult. These books all jumped out at me someway or another and I am so excited to share my first ever book review video (brace yourself its a little long, I may have gotten carried away!) I thought I would struggle more with being in front of the camera, but found I actually really enjoyed it and it was so much more enjoyable than just including a photo and some text. Now you’ll really get to know me…
If you love to read, I hope you’ll me on this little adventure and together we can create our own little book club 🙂 Comment below with your thoughts and favorites!
