A book haul FULL of amazing reads just begging to be read!
Some of you may know, my husband and I are making a big life change… we’re boxing up our home in Denver and heading to Reno to be closer to our families. So over the past week I’ve had the task of boxing up some things. The first to go were my books. My husband brought a box up into my office and said hey start packing. I was like yeah okay it should be easy right well it set off an anxiety attack… I couldn’t stand the thought of an empty bookshelf for the month. Turns out though, the TBR stack sitting on the floor… it fills up my almost empty shelf ha! And I thought I’d only need a few boxes. I’m already at two and I have a good feeling I’m going to need a LOT more!
Anyways, over the month of August I’ve been able to add more great reads to the TBR shelf! I’m so excited for these reads. Have you read any of them?
Order your copies of the August reads from Amazon:
The Muse by Jessie Burton
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
Good As Gone by Amy Gentry

My reads during the month of July… boy did it fly!
I swear I blinked and July was over! I can’t believe it’s officially August… anyone else feeling like this?! July was busy, but I still managed to read 5 books and 4 comics. The books I read were fantastic as always (huge thank you to BookSparks and Atria Books), but my favorite read would have to be Swear on This Life by Renee Carlino. Oh goodness it was AMAZING and I devoured it in two days. The reads this last month were all a little heavier and emotional so just a little heads up for those who want to read these! I highly recommend them all though and would love to hear what you think so if you do pick one up. Let me know!

Devon is a talented gymnast with hopes of making it to the Olympics, but when a death rocks the community, secrets are revealed. For Devon’s family who lives and breath this sport, how far will they go to ensure that Devon gets her chance to make all her dreams come true.
What I loved:
Immediately had me invested because of the sport, depicted the gym world pretty darn accurately, gripping, mysterious, and a great point of view!
What I didn’t:
The characters didn’t make me care for them, slow start, and plot was a little predictable.
If you liked He Will Be My Ruin, Gillian Flynn’s books, or The Girl on the Train: I have a feeling you’ll enjoy this too!

A collection of my favorite reads so far this year.
June has come and gone and so far I’ve read 39 books. They have all been great too which is why I wanted to share my favorite reads so far this year. I’m also really interested in looking back at the end of the year and seeing which of these makes the final cut for the end of the year favorites. I’m sure the list will change, but for now, I’m extremely happy with the lineup. I hope that you’ll find at least one you haven’t read yet and give it a go!!
Today, I’m dressed head to toe Americana and ready to celebrate! Sadly, Zach has to work so I’ll just be chilling at home. There will be sunshine, bbq foods, and of course a good book! Later, I’ll most likely stay home with our pup and watch the fireworks from upstairs. I love this time of year. I hope you all have a fun and safe holiday!
Happy Fourth of July!

So, I’d love to get through them since a majority will be released this very month! WOO!! Stay tuned for full reviews as I work my way through. I’m currently reading You Will Know Me. READ NOW | 5/5 stars | Buy your copy of Hidden Bodies
We pick up right were You left off. Joe’s left alone (again) and he decides to follow Amy to Hollywood to convince her to be with him. However, while searching for Amy, Joe finds another woman who catches his eye, Love. She even steals his heart. True love is all he’s ever wanted and with Love, that’s what he gets. Will his life with Love continue on this happy path or will Joe’s past finally catch up to him?
What I loved:
Characters had more depth and development, addicted to such an unfavorable type of character, and ended up being left quite surprised!
What I didn’t: Frustrating at times as Joe chases two women… commit already!
If you liked You (first book in this duology), He Will Be My Ruin, anything by Gillian Flynn, or the TV show Dexter then: read this because I couldn’t get enough of Joe!

“This man was once my salvation. Now he will be my ruin.”
Gripping | 5/5 stars | Buy your copy of He Will Be My Ruin

What I loved:

What I didn’t: Lingering questions…Sequel?!
