My reads during the month of July… boy did it fly!
I swear I blinked and July was over! I can’t believe it’s officially August… anyone else feeling like this?! July was busy, but I still managed to read 5 books and 4 comics. The books I read were fantastic as always (huge thank you to BookSparks and Atria Books), but my favorite read would have to be Swear on This Life by Renee Carlino. Oh goodness it was AMAZING and I devoured it in two days. The reads this last month were all a little heavier and emotional so just a little heads up for those who want to read these! I highly recommend them all though and would love to hear what you think so if you do pick one up. Let me know!

Being Pretty comes with a price…
Amusing! | 4/5 stars | Pre-order your copy of The Regulars | Releases 8.2.16
Evie, Willow, and Krista have low self esteem and are unhappy with their current state. When an acquaintance of Krista’s passes off a potion called Pretty, they’re more than tempted to test their luck. With just one drop they turn into gorgeous supermodels – tall, curvy, voluminous hair, and catch the eye of everyone who passes, but perfection comes with a price.
What I loved:
How it raised questions about societies unrealistic beauty standards, focused on accepting yourself and your flaws, confirmation of my opinions on beauty.
What I didn’t:
The Pretty version of the characters, unrealistic at times, a few mixed signals.
If you like the sounds of The Devil Wears Prada mixed with Sex and the City and just a splash of 50 Shades of Gray: You’ll love this!

I won the ARC copy from Atria Books and received the finished copy from BookSparks in exchange for an honest review.
Added a few great books to the TBR pile this month!
I only allowed myself to pick up books on my travels during April. This way I was restricted from buying too many books, but not on a total ban. I was so proud haha I only picked up 2 books and even won a book from a giveaway on Instagram! Score!! Find out what I picked up in April…
My restriction didn’t last long, but the good news is I gave myself a limit – $20 for the entire month of May. I went to my trusted bookstore, 2nd & Charles, and picked up one book for FREE and the others for the $20. It was a pretty great month! Super excited for another CoHo book. EEK!
