I read a total of 6 books during the month of January. They were really great too! I read and watched The 5th Wave which was awesome, but I think my favorite book that month would have to be Before We Were Strangers! It was SO so cute and I loved the characters (the main guy, Matt, was a photographer for National Geographic! I’m a photographer too so yay to this!!) Confess was a close second okay or maybe it was The 5th Wave… Anyways, you can watch the video for more of my thoughts and opinions or click below for more in depth reviews on each. Don’t forget to comment below and let me know if you’ve read any of these

Overview: Camille hasn’t been home in 8 years and we quickly find out why when she’s sent there to cover the death of two teenage girls. This book is FULL of shocking moments, crazy good characters, and a huge twist you won’t see coming (like it punches you in the face).
What I loved: It kept me guessing, had a plot twist I didn’t see coming, left me with chills, and Camille’s character… vulnerable, flawed, and strong!
What I didn’t: There was too much crammed into the last few chapters.
Over the past year, reading has become an obsession of mine. I’ve always loved to read, but last year it really became a daily part of my routine. It’s a way to fall into another world, to learn new things, and to new FEEL things (and boy those feels get you). Bookstores are a safe haven and when I need a little “me” time, I can often be found browsing the endless aisles of Tattered Cover, Barnes and Noble, or 2nd & Charles and more often than not… buying WAY too many books from Amazon. There are probably just as many books on my TBR (to be read) shelf as there are on my shelves of books that I’ve actually read. I’m definitely not exaggerating either… they’re overflowing onto the floor! I either need a two month reading vacation or more shelves 😉
Anyways, back to the main point of this blog post… my Top 10 books of 2015! I read 25 books so narrowing it to the top 10 wasn’t too difficult. These books all jumped out at me someway or another and I am so excited to share my first ever book review video (brace yourself its a little long, I may have gotten carried away!) I thought I would struggle more with being in front of the camera, but found I actually really enjoyed it and it was so much more enjoyable than just including a photo and some text. Now you’ll really get to know me…
If you love to read, I hope you’ll me on this little adventure and together we can create our own little book club 🙂 Comment below with your thoughts and favorites!
