BookSparks sends the best book mail!

If you follow me on Instagram then you may know that I won a box full of amazing books from BookSparks a few weeks ago. It was their May Summer Reading Challenge (SRC) box and I was so so happy. Thus far, I have LOVED the books that were included! You can watch my unboxing of that here or see below for full reviews on the ones I’ve gotten to read so far. Like I said the books have been great and when I received an email saying I had been selected for the July box… I screamed! I felt bad for my husband (who probably thought something was seriously wrong) and the animals (who fled with fur sticking up in every direction), but I was just too dang excited.

For the last week I have been (not so) patiently waiting and waiting. Just when I let it go and thought, it’ll be here soon. Relax. I walk out the door and trip over it (thanks FedEx man for not ringing the bell and letting me know my goodies arrived!) Poor Butters, I turned back right away with the box so I could open it… only then we could go for a walk!

Now for the really fun part… watch as I unbox the July SRC box then follow me on Instagram for more photos and reviews of each book! I can’t wait to share these with you. From the synopsis, which book are you most looking forward to??

Thank you again BookSparks!!

Be sure to follow BookSparks and join in on the #SRC2016 because it will be the #BestSummerEver!!

Book Haul: December 2015

I can happily say I looooove it!

It’s always helpful to look back at the goals you’ve set out to accomplish. Do a little check in of sorts and just see how things are going because life is constantly changing. Things come up. So to help me cope with all the madness of day to day life, I make lists. Like I mentioned, touching base with those lists is extremely helpful in keeping order in all the chaos. To do this, I’m throwing it back for the next week or two of posts. I want to take a step back to reevaluate what I’ve set out to do and alter anything that doesn’t seem to fit where I want to go in the future. To start us off, I’m going back to December when I first set out to achieve my bookish goals. I started a YouTube Channel and a Bookstagram and was determined to relieve stress, get creative, have fun, and make new friends.

Today’s video walks you through the 12 books I collected during December and the first week of January. I was so excited for this lovely little stack on my shelf. I had just started reading Before We Were Strangers and now months later I can happily say I looooove it! I’ll leave the complete list below of books that I picked up along with whether or not I’ve gotten around to reading it yet. I’d love to know which ones you’ve read and recommend or which ones are on your TBR still too 😉

Hello + Welcome to jessislibrary!

Just another way to connect with more book loving friends!

I’m so excited to finally start a blog dedicated to all things bookish! At the beginning of this year, I started a Bookstagram account and absolutely adore the community. Never in a million years would I have thought that it would be so welcoming and supportive. I’ve made so many amazing friends there so of course I couldn’t wait to start a blog. I know that blogging takes time and commitment, but I blog weekly for my business so I think I can handle this too 😉 It’s such a great outlet and another way to connect with more book loving friends! Leave your Bookstagram handle below so I can follow!!

I’m really looking forward to sharing my thoughts and opinions with you, so I ask that you please join me in leaving comments, requests for posts you’d like to see here, and book recommendations!

Again, thank you for stopping by!
