The books I hope to read in August! What’s on your list?

Some of you may know by now, but I’m at the Rio Olympics! A few days ago we began our journey from Colorado to Florida and stayed the night. I didn’t get much reading done on that flight because it was an extremely early flight and I pretty much slept the entire way, but I wanted to read so badly haha I finally got some reading done while we were waiting to meet up with my parents in the airport and OH MY GOD! It Ends With Us is incredible so far.

Now that we’re in Rio we’ve been busy busy! The first day here we hit the ground running with getting to the hotel, team meetings, and getting settled into our hotel. Then yesterday was the first day of competition so still haven’t gotten to read much but today’s a chill day! I’ve packed along more books to read on the long 9 hour flight as well as for the two weeks we’ll be in Rio. It’s so crazy to think about and I sure hope I didn’t pack them for nothing haha I’ve filmed a TBR if you’d like to see which other books I’ve packed and then be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for Rio vlogs! I’ll be doing my best to get some footage up there for you… Anyways, these are the books I plan to read during the month of August. Let me know if we have one in common!

Hope you all have a lovely two weeks! So excited to cheer on Team USA!!

DIY Bookshelf Frame

A bookish DIY project that has me all giddy!

Hey booknerds!

If you follow me on Instagram you know that a few weekends ago, Zach helped me bring a Pinterest project to life! I LOVE the way they turned out. I have been wanting a shelf to hold all of my TBR books and well, I finally have not one, but two! It’s so wonderful to have them right next to the bed and not hogging up all the nightstand space. These were a fun little project, easy to make, and like I said… I just love how they came out. We’re already plotting to make more! Woo hoo!! Watch the video below to watch it all come together and for step by step instructions on how you can make your very own!

TBR: July 2016

A great stack of books I hope to finish in July…

Hey friends! I’ve debated whether or not I wanted to actually do a TBR pile this month… I’ve been so terrible lately about sticking to it and end up choosing whatever calls to me, but I really wanted to get through this pile because the amazing BookSparks sent some really great reads my way in their July box. So, I’d love to get through them since a majority will be released this very month! WOO!! Stay tuned for full reviews as I work my way through. I’m currently reading You Will Know Me. What’s your first read of the month??

Wrap Up: April 2016 & May TBR

My favorite April read was…

I see a reoccurring theme here… I’m overly ambitious with my TBR! I really thought I would do better, but sadly didn’t. I guess I was just too dang busy enjoying all the fun things to do in Hawaii! My favorite April read was hands down Salt to the Sea! I HIGHLY recommend it and if you haven’t read Between Shades of Gray, read that first! It is so freaking good you guys!! I hope you enjoy the video and as always, feel free to comment if you have questions about a book or if you’ve read any of these. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Happy Wednesday friends!!
