Overview:
Hannah and Kate have been best friends since the 5th grade. Kate seems to have the perfect life while Hannah’s is missing something.  A child. Hannah and Ben haven’t been able to conceive and just when they are about to give up, Kate offers to be their surrogate.

What I loved:
Balanced emotions, the connection between Kate and Hannah, beautiful writing and story! That it was inspired by events in the authors life.

What I didn’t:
Had me on the verge of tears more than once… beware!

If you liked The Lovely Bones or Orphan Train: give this one a go!
