Overview:
The Swans of Fifth Avenue takes place in the 1950’s/60’s and is mostly centered around the rich and beautiful Swans. When Truman Capote moves to New York and befriends The Swans, he flatters them, adores them, and gossips with them. Through luncheons, shopping, tea, and vacations as he gets planted into these fashionable women’s lives. Soon enough he becomes their little pet and gains their trust. The Swans confide their secrets to him and what does he do? He ends up betraying them for his own personal gain.

What I loved: The glitz and glam lifestyle, ohhhh the fashion, the time period, and the gossip! (Hello Gossip Girl vibes)

What I didn’t:
Struggled with the slow pace, didn’t love the characters or story as much as I wanted to.
