“I’ll love you forever. Even when I can’t.”

Overview: In search of a job, Auburn walks into an art gallery meeting Owen for the first time. He hires her on the spot and we find out that he isn’t just attracted to her. There’s more, but he’s keeping it to himself. It’s a secret that threatens their very relationship.

What I loved: That real life confessions inspired the paintings which were included in the book (what a lovely touch)! It felt like a contemporary Romeo & Juliet, it had me hooked the entire way, and the beautiful ending!

What I didn’t: Aubrey was hard to connect with… it wasn’t until half way through that things finally changed.
